Silent Roar closed

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Oodles and oodles of thanks to the large, hardworking cast and crew of “Silent Roar” for everything they did to make our short run such an amazing success. It was an amazing show and I am so happy and so lucky to have been a part of it.

Thanks also to everyone who came out to see us.

If you didn’t see it, Angela Gomez wrote an wonderful review at Socal.com. I think she did a great job capturing the essence of the show.

Richard III with Shakespeare at Play

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

I played Brackenbury along with a few other characters in Shakespeare at Play’s Richard III August 15 and 16, 2009 in the park at the Buena Vista library in Burbank.

If you were there you were part of a very special outdoor theater experience and I thank you.

If you weren’t there you can live vicariously through Brian McGackin’s account in the Burbank Leader.

Hopefully some pictures will be forthcoming.

This Saturday’s show is very special to me because I will be going on as Flute/Thisby. If you’ve been longing to see me in drag this may be your only chance.

If you can’t see Saturday’s show there is another matinee June 18, then evening shows every Thursday night in August and on Labor Day.

Theatricum Botanicum 2009

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

This summer I will be in Cymbeline and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga.

The Theatricum Botanicum is an outdoor theater with a huge stage integrated with the surrounding woods and trails. It is the only stage I have ever seen that is suitable for performing Shakespeare, so it’s quite a treat to be a part of the company.

We perform for our first school group on Monday April 27 but don’t open for the public until Sunday May 31.

All the details on at Theatricum.com. Come and see us!
