My Van Needs a Copilot

I bought Ry, my 2022 Thor Rize campervan, (now for sale) with plans to do a lot of vacationing, traveling, and camping on my own.

And I did. It was great. As a single person and an introvert I had a phenomenal time.

But life on the road is especially isolating. And more than that, I’ve changed. I want to do my vacationing, traveling, and camping with people who are close to me.

Let’s be clear, I don’t expect to find a partner to join my van life dream as is. I’m very clear on my needs for van life. Another person’s needs could be entirely different. And with two of us in one van, our needs could be completely different again.

I did this alone. I’m glad I did but for it to be something I want to continue, my van needs a copilot.
